COMPANY PROFILE

Fil-Chin Engineering (FCE) was established in the late 1980s by Mr. and Mrs. Dulo L. Chua. The company name Fil-Chin, which stands for Filipino-Chinese, symbolizes cultural unification between the married couple. Mr. and Mrs. Chua both earned their degrees in Engineering (Electrical and Civil, respectively) at Mapua Institute of Technology. Their background in engineering paved the way for the nature and concept of FCE. During the company’s first couple of years in operation, it catered products and services related to high-tech food processing equipment and wiremesh conveyor belts.

Anchored and inspired by the philosophy of Philippine countryside development, FCE began to cater to almost all parts of the country. Now with a wide array of products and services, FCE is determined to continue to create and search for better and more innovative equipment solutions which will suit to every plant need. Through this, FCE has earned the trust and confidence of food processing industry today. Inspired by this successful breakthrough, FCE is determined to pursue its vision to become a world-renowned in the field of food processing.

Our Vision

Fil-Chin Engineering’s vision is to be the leading fabricator and distributor of food processing equipment for the Philippines by 2020. The company management aims to do this by placing more emphasis on quality and innovation of products. It aims to undergo and implement extensive Kaizen or continuous improvement techniques and to engage further in research and development strategies to promote lower costs for higher quality products and services.

ANKO FOOD MACHINE CO., LTD. was established in 1978. lnitially it produced only automatic seed sprouters, this has since
been extended to a full range of high-tech food processing machinery including Automatic Spring Roll, Dumpling, Ravioli, Samosa, Meat bun, Shiu mai, Won ton, Empanada and other kinds of ethnic food making machines.

ANKO has acquired adequate testing equipments and technologies to assure the qualities of machines. We perform functional, durability, environmental, and field tests for the machines before production. ISO 9001 and the auditing systems assure quality procedures are reviewed, examined and audited on a frequent basis for the adequacy. To meet the worldwide demand, we established two additional factories in Ningbo, China and a branch office in San Francisco, U. S. A. We have 172 workers and engineers to provide worldwide support.
